God is Transcendent, Immense and Soverign. God is in a class by Himself; there has never been, there never was, and there never will be anyone like Him. The chreibum which sits in His throne room in Heaven is no closer to Him in essence than the worm which hides in the dirt on this earth. God is totally Transcendent from His creation in that He is far far above any of His creation in terms of anything. He is trancendently and immensely holy, righteous, just, and pure. I have also included in this section, His Sovereignty, which informs us that He is a God who is incontrol of all things: He needs permission from no one to do anything and all things work according to His will. His plan has never faltered or failed and it will come to pass in the end.

Sovereignty:This simply refers to the fact that all things are under His rule and control, and that nothing happens in this Universe without His direction or permission. He is a God Who works, not just some things, but all things after the counsel of His own will (see Eph. 1:11). God's purpose is all- inclusive and is never thwarted (see Isa. 46:11). Nothing Takes Him by Surprise

As Americans we're used to a democratic process of rule. When you're talking about sovereignty, you're talking about government and about authority. From a biblical perspective, when the Scriptures speak of God's sovereignty, they reveal God's governmental authority and power over his entire universe.
