Eternity

God is eternal. He is beyond space and time. He is outside of time and holds all of time in His hands as a drop of water in the oceans. He is infinitely eternal...if you could say that. He is bound by no minutes, seconds, days, or years. He has been from the beginning of beginnings and has been before everything. He will continue to be even after everything is long gone and passed away. He is eternal. Psalms says that He is from everlasting to everlasting. Because He is eternal, His love is eternal, His holiness, His justice and even His wrath are eternal. Man may ask why an eternal God would die for the finite and temporary sins of men. The answer to that question is the correction of the latter part of the question. Because God is eternal and infinite, sins against Him are eternal and infinitely offensive in his sight and therefore eternal and infinite punishment must be sentenced. God in His eternal love for His elect predestined them from before the foundations of the world, and sent His Son to die for the sins of the world, giving His people life eternal and eternal redemption and forgiveness. There is so much more to His eternity, I pray that you would be blessed by these articles.
